The No. 20 Golden Hurricane looks to defy the odds one more time in the AAC this season when they play at No. 6 Cincinnati at 7 p.m. Saturday night in the AAC championship game at Nippert Stadium.

If it puts them into a NY6, then yes. It’s the biggest since the 5 New Years bowls. IOW, the modern era. Not just because of the significance of the game and poll position, and not not just because Cincy is Top 10, and just because it’s on National network TV, but because it re-states that Tulsa must be accounted for on the national stage, no matter how much greed and ego wants to pretend otherwise.
