Talent is good. Coaching is HORRENDOUS!! Rick needs to step up and let the Tulsa Boys lead this team. Guarantee they have a different offensive philosophy than running the globetrotter weave for 15 seconds and then go one on one. Or get the ball to your worst player (Idowu) and rely on him to score.

Our team has some talented parts, but the talent doesn't go deep enough...We are
hard pressed to find any consistent scorers beyond Griffin and Horne....If our opponents
can slow down either one, they have a good chance to win...Last night, Horne was held
well below his average, and of course, we lost....The game before (BSU), it was Griffin and
we lost again....

We are getting very little out of the 5 position, including any reposting....We pass it inside,
and little happens other than Idowu trying to score against double teams...He doesn't
have the gift of passing back out effectively....Or in a timely way.....

Pritchard continues to show great promise at PG, but he isn't working with many options
to get the ball to.....The inside-out game, given the limitations of our 5 position players is
mostly off the table, and the combined production of our wings (Haywood and Dalger)
has been for the most part disappointing....K.E.S. has mostly been ineffective, and has
not shot well.....His total stats last night in 19 minutes of play, were 1 foul and 1 missed
three...

Horne had 11 rebounds, and he really went high to get some of those...Despite that
we were out rebounded by 15.....

Our offensive movement has not been consistently crisp and/or fast enough....Our
defense, when we turned up the volume, was really effective, but it wasn't consistently
intense....Consistent intensity has been a problem with this team in several of our
games in this early part of the season....

I'm afraid I have to join those who say it is time for a change....Someone suggested that
Haith has lost this team, and that morale under his leadership is low.....Finishing the
season under one of our assistants might have one large saving grace....It would start
our search for a replacement much earlier....Such a transition would probably be more
orderly and therefore might serve to help us retain our two best guards in Pritchard
(fr.), and Griffin (Soph.).....That would be a great start toward rebuilding the team......

This all sounds so negative, but it is time (actually past time) to face reality.....I am on
a pretty short leash time wise, and I would really like to see some good TU basketball
while I still have the ability to care....

Go TU!
