I don't like this one. They will play an ugly game and try to keep the score low. That bodes well for our free throw shooters, but that's a strange place to play and we are still young.

Their record is awful, but they did play UCF close and Fall somehow managed not to score any points against them.

I feel a little better about it knowing that they're still without BJ Tyson.

They're a completely different version than previous ECU teams. Last in the conference in 3P%, last in the conference in FT%, next to last in the conference in 2P%. But they force turnovers defensively and that 7-footer Wake transfer blocks a ton of shots. Could be an ugly game.

I think it will be tight, but TU will prevail. Key is to get off to a good start and play consistently throughout the game.

Tulsa -2

That's what I was worried about. Don't want this one close at all.

ECU basketball is turrible, but we still have to execute. Good week of basketball ahead; UCF (15-5, 5-2) Saturday, 12:30pm and #19 Cincinnati (17-2, 7-0) next Wednesday, 8pm. Wonder if TU will make any effort to get fans to these 2 important home games.

On another note, Lew Evans and Tennessee are currently leading UK at half on ESPN.

Ah hell, this is an ESPN tres game. I'm looking forward to the Greenville equivalent of Al Jerkins. It may just be a pirate from a Long John Silver's.

Does anyone else get a creepy Craigslist vibe when reading boneyard banter?

Sagarin says it will be Tulsa by 2 so pretty close.

ECU has played the third easiest overall schedule in our conference and only has 9 wins to show for that also have been blown out at home four times this year so that is a good omen. Time will tell.

GO TU!!!!

This is an epic delay with the gap between radio and trons broadcast.

LOL on 11.
Magnay needs to know he's going to draw contact when taking a shot. He's pretty weak still on the offensive end.

ECU is other worldly bad. I mean, we have some pretty reckless and stupid turnovers but ECU is even more brutal from what I've seen so far.

ESPN 3 - stilly fuzzy after all these years.

The Haith lineup im now referring to as the "lull them to sleep" lineup. It's the only rationale I have for Haith consistently doing the 5 player lineup swap all at once.

Settling for too many 3s that we are not hitting and we are lazy on transition D. We're moving the ball well but nothing is going inside and we're missing from outside. Ball needs to go down low for a look and then kicked outside if it is not available underneath.

The good news is we're playing horribly and we're down 2. If we can get our act together we should run away with it.

Worst offense from two teams that I've seen in awhile. I think the announcing crew may be just as bad.

Actual quote from announcer "Haith doesn't practice his players too much we know this because of his record at Tulsa in January and February comes after January"...

I am not making that up.

Edogi has come a very long way on the FT line since he got to TU.

Ok this is random but just had the freakiest deja vu with this sequence and your post.

No one wants to take a shot from inside the arc. Doesn't matter....no one can hit a :crap: regardless of where they're shooting from right now. It's not bad offensive sets because the ball is moving and the shots are open...just can't hit the ocean from the boat right now. Defense is good. Even the long 25 foot desperation shot clock beater was well defended.

I don't like Henderson and Artison in here at same time. Too much crazy on defense.
