The greatest threat to our lives (as we presently know it) may not be Obamacare, but this very thing. Govt exceeding its constitutional authority and deeming itself the power to do as it pleases wo the rule of Constitional law. When this occurs, we might as well be governed by a "foreign" dictator or an invading army. It trashes the very laws we hold dear and changes our civil society that is made up of non-homgenous peoples (who come here to get rid of this kind of governing), into a radicalized oligarchy of those that believe in the "absolute" power of government over its people. They just don't care that we are supposed to be the ultimate bosses, not them.
