As we were walking out of the stadium after witnessing that debacle at the end of the game, my wife said “I miss the days where we won exciting games and expected to win the whole time”

While it seems obvious, the deeper point for to me... I haven’t really EXPECTED to win games since Graham was here. Obviously we’ve had a little on and off success with the other two coaches, but with Graham it was an expectation that when we took the field, we were going to win.

Now it’s the complete opposite. I sat there all through the 4th waiting for us to crap the bed... and sure enough we did just that.

Eric has been tweeting for USF tonight. Gawd I miss him. We had 9 snaps for zero yards in fourth. They had 31 for 224.

I remember drinking a whole bottle of red wine the night GJ ran all over UH @ hell. And we won running it up the gut in fourth. I came on here that night and apologized for bashing us hiring him (like my music, I am ahead of my time). Anyway, that goofy ass play calling was better than this crap tonight.

I called it before the game. I took some friends who had never been. They liked the atmosphere and things we had going on. Entering the fourth quarter one who doesn't really know football asked if we we're doing good, i.e. we were winning but was it big? I explained we we up two touch downs. Then I said I wonder how we'll lose it. After the blocked extra point, the two point conversion fail, I still just sat there trying to figure out how it would happen. Then still being pist when it happened.

Here’s an observation: I went to Chapman commons before game for firm event. It looked like Rice pre-game. I realize the weather blew chunks, but interest is so low that people don’t come. I remember worse weather for the Boise game when we had a pretty good team.

Because unlike Graham he hasn't won. His record as a head coach is 4-12, 1-3 Raiders, 7-6 Tennesse, 8-5, 10-2, 7-6, 2-3 USC, 11-3, 3-3 FAU. Kendall Briles was the brains behind last year's team. He'll probably end up 6-6 to end the season and could have a losing record.

He doesn't recruit Texas, struggled to win at USC and hasn't dealt with the type of limitations a school like Tulsa has.

So uh.....yeah.

Thing is I don't, but let's say you're right. He's still the freshest douche and the one with the most wins.

So if we're hiring a retread douche, as you suggested, than we should probably pick the best one don't you think?

Of course some of us realize that it's about wins and losses for a Tulsa coach not how Uredskins feels about them emotionally, or *Gold, or even me.

That's the real point, trust me I didn't miss it.
