On the website is the latest Classic Moment, about one of the latest Hall of Fame inductees. David Smoot was inducted posthumously, as he passed away in 2012. But his teammates tell his story and the fascinating developments that led to TU winning the MVC track title in 1961 & 1962. (BTW, not mentioned in the story was the fact the Track & Field coach those years was the Football Trainer, Ted Ballard!):
