critical race theory class

Look at the growth of the African American community like the effects of compound interest. Slaves started with essentially nothing when they were emancipated, then they lived under Jim Crow for 100 years which essentially meant their growth rate (you can say in terms of wealth or in terms of societal growth) was lower than that of the country’s average. Even after Jim Crow, they’ve still had to deal with things like police brutality or not receiving the same kinds of business opportunities that other races do, and the growth was also stilted by the problems inherent in their own community related to socioeconomic disparities left over from Jim Crow. (Tenements in Harlem or Detroit for example)

Essentially, the US created 200+ years ago a large caste of second class citizens and everything that’s been done since then, hasn’t helped them move from that caste. In some cases what’s what was done, had the effect of making things more difficult on them.
Exactly. 200 years ago.

Apparently not much of a stem kind of person. Go ahead and promote what leaves us behind in education. At least you promoted your specialty, one pillar out of four for stem.

What we have here is a failure to comprehend reality. Our school system has been deteriorating for decades now. STEM is for those kids who have a solid foundation of the basics and the majority of kids do not have that baseline. Hard to teach algebra if you can’t add or subtract.

blm, the media darling, endorsed by the democrats, subject of countless PSM. fawned by the nfl annd nba has turned their backs to the USA Flag and declared it a symbol of hate.

Nancy Pelosi needs to form a commission to investigate this act of hate and treason .

marxism in sheep's clothing
Can you tell me three things that Karl Marx actually advocated using his own words, and why they are bad for society in your opinion? Or are you just parroting the talking points of a million other folks who don’t know much about what they say?

Marx was naive as to the dark side of the human element. I often wonder what he would have thought of the tyranny and hundreds of millions of deaths which resulted from those who tried to implement his philosophy. Is there anything more dangerous than giving one human being unbridled power over the masses?

He's yet to prove how good of a President he will be. He hasn't had enough time to get anything really significant done.
And yet we don't sit on pins and needles wondering what the next asinine thing that will come out of his mouth that the gullibles will devour...such as inciting an insurrection. I also find it hilarious that Kayley McEnany's worst criticism of Biden is not anything to do with policy or direction but the fact that he uses note cards when speaking to the press or in public. If the worst thing you think of a politician is that he is prepared and organized, he's doing OK.

Not to be argumentative but have you listened to him attempt to answer questions? It’s an incoherent smorsgabord of random thoughts. Our bar for presidents shouldn’t be Trump

He's never read The Communist Manifesto...or even Animal Farm for that matter. The economic concepts of true communism and socialism are not inherently bad. It treats everyone equally no matter what you do for a living, and everyone is supposed to enjoy the same benefits of living in that society. It treats every job done in that society as being an equally important job...no single job is greater than another and all jobs must be done in order for the society to function. The flaw in the concept is with the greed of humans. In communist states as we know them, particularly the Soviet Union, the theory gets separated from the practice as the individuals given authority to oversee the management of said society believe they deserve more for doing such an important job. Others know this so they bring them into the inner circle and they're given a bit more. And then in order to maintain their elevated statuses, they enlist the military and give them a bit more to be heavy handed and keep the general population in line and to keep the leaders in power. The term Premier was not selected randomly. And this is where communism as an economic theory diverged into Fascist dictatorships. And it's amazing that all of these leaders got elected by convincing what were considered the lowliest of the working class (manufacturing laborers) that they were on their side while they were essentially withholding benefits that were rightfully theirs. Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin even all convinced them that some other part of their society were to blame for horrible events in their lives (Hitler blamed the Jews for the Great Depression and blamed non-Aryans, mostly minorities for other societal ills). Eventually the Soviet Union also persecuted Jews for the same reasons.

And yes, Marx does not see how religion fits in a unified society because religion plays a critical role in maintaining an unequal status quo, in which certain groups of people have radically more resources and power than other groups of people. Marx argues the upper class used religion to appease the lower class.

Agreed. But I'd prefer Biden's smorgasboard to Trump's hate and nonsense. Trump revealed in a recent interview that he intentionally did the opposite of what Fauci suggested. 15 months later we're reopening, people aren't getting vaccinated because Trump's QAnon followers are insane and his sheeple will follow blindly because they don't understand the consequences, and we're headed for another shutdown because people would rather get sick and die and infect others, than listen to a medical expert because Trump disagreed with him.

Wow 3 out of 3 wrong. Impressive.

And the US' version of capitalism today isn't the original version. People used to build companies. Nowadays they build companies, sell them to shareholding groups and the shareholders get rich off of investments while workers get laid off in order to ensure the shareholders who did nothing still get paid a dividend. Even CEOs today don't have much to do with how the company was built and their strategic plans aren't made to grow the company as much as made to make the shareholders money.

You’re referencing a very small minority of people who start businesses and proceed down that path and trying to play it off as the norm. The typical business owner today still works long hours building his company and has a very limited number of shareholders besides himself. I would wager there are 10,000 business owners who fit my description to every one of yours. It’s not fair to group all the hard working people who provide jobs for millions to the few who take advantage of their good fortune.

I don’t think he was Naive to it. I think he believed that the increasing intelligence and understanding of the masses would protect them from the dark side. He certainly saw the inherent dark side in the bourgeoisie. I think he underestimated the propensity for the masses to, like lemmings jumping off a cliff, sway to the will of strong men and the strong mens’ hit or miss nature of being effective (or effectively terrible) leaders, much like hereditary kings were hit or miss.

I’m sure the Grand Poo-Bah of the KKK’s kids grandkids learned by his example as well. Maybe step up and admit that there could still be problems in our country for people who aren’t Western European.
how many foreign countries have people come from that you have you traveled with, drank with. dined with. and partied with? my count is roughly 40.

just read a google article that in math, expecting students to get the correct answer is racist.

Google doesn't do journalism of any sort. Would be nice to see you source wherever it is that you find these articles, so we can laugh 😄 at you even more heartily. You know google searches are fashioned towards your choices. Conspiracy theory choices lead to more baugus articles from flaky sources every day.

No, you yahoo. You need to source the actual article when you site it, not some nebulous melange of general sources for all the articles you talk about. You know, something somebody could look at, if they thought it was worth the time to be amused.

just search racist math, and pick an article.

nice deflect tactic. you attack the credibility of the article when you are losing.

No, just marvelling at your stupid unsourced question. When you really want an answer then source it.
