No I don't think so. B-12 is just as likely to fall apart as it is to expand IMHO.If we lose Cincy and Houston we are screwed as we will be just waiting for the inevitable drop to a new division outside D1 which will kill our football program.
Absolutely agree. I think Boren's comments represent a different approach from the totality of the networks to keep the 10 they have and still expand the $ without adding teams just to have a number of teams. I have been of the opinion as soon as this started coming out that Texas bolts if the Big XII expands at all. Someone thinks B1G, I think it is the SEC (I don't think Nebraska would be too keen on UT joining them again). Once Texas leaves, that conference is s shell of what it was and envisioned to be. Conference alignment for the p5 and g5. Each year the top 2 or 3 teams in each g5 conference replace the bottom teams in the p5 conferences.
