I had received a couple of emails concerning the Champions Fund and had seen a Twitter post but it just mentioned the name without details that were apparent. Today I got my package telling me that the Golden Hurricane Club is now a thing of the past and will henceforth be known as the Champions Fund. I was wondering what others thought of this? Personally I’m not a fan. I liked being a member of a club, I’m not so sure about being a member of a fund that doesn’t even have a name related to the sports teams. It’s true that nothing has really changed but the name and the lowest contribution but for someone like me whose only interaction other than an occasional road game is that name it’s unsettling.
