i really did not realize until watching this game how far behind we are compared to the top of the league. The announcers said that whoever plays these teams in the tournament is in for a real fight. not only more talent but fight for every ball. fun to watch

Uhhh, if we had kicked the ball out to Scott, who had just made a three, instead of being silly trying a tough interior pass for a turnover we could have beat UCF at their house. I don’t buy this sudden huge talent gap. The guys aren’t playing their best right now and I don’t know why. I’m not sure we could beat Houston but otherwise there’s not another team in the conference that we don’t have a good chance to beat if we can put a decent game together.

Houston will win a game or two in the ncaa tourney, not more than that.

Fabulous win for UCF.

A lot of these games have a lot to do with player/style matchups.

Houston’s “bully ball” doesn’t work very well against teams with big boys inside.

UCF has Chad Brown, Tacko Fall, and Smith.

Teams like TU, with a weak/soft inside game, get bludgeoned by bully ball...especially on the offensive glass.

Sampson teams have always had a problem when they run into tough interior players who bully them back. Very happy to see UH go down at home. Now, I'm wondering if TU really wants the 7 seed if UH stumbles its way into 2nd place. Final game of the regular season is UH at Cinncy.
