CFP has approved a 12 team playoff

So, one G5 among the first 6 then 6 at-large from the P5, probably most from the SEC.

It gives that chance. Deck is still stacked against us but we have a seat. The top four seeds get a bye so it’s like the current CFP with a playin round

Just saw an ESPN graphic showing that the B-10 would have been the big winner with this format last year. The SEC would have jumped from two to three while the B-10 would have gone from one to three. This would also have lead to inclusion of the B-12, PAC, and ND. That only numbers 10 with Cincy so the ACC must have had two also.

G5 will always only get 1 in and that is just the way it is. We just need to make it count.

In other news. Temple is getting monkey stomped at Duke. Old dominion is holding it close to Virginia tech. Tulsa blasted ODU in Myrtle beach last year. That tells you how the ACC is.

Also why do they have Oregon at 11. Oregon proved last year that they suck outside of the PAC 12

With the AAC being the best G5, this will give our conference a spot in the playoffs , making us able to get better recruits with that selling point . Also watch for North Texas and UTSA to become really good as well with that incentive.
