now the dems want to change the rules so they can pass their next bill.

why bother, Biden should mandate it.

I think the silent filibuster inhibits actual public debate on topics. I’m not necessarily of the opinion that it should be gone all together, but it should certainly require a senator to hold the floor and to do so with an argument that’s pertinent to the topic at hand. No reading the phone book, or a novel, the Bible, etc…

we get smashed with tv ads pro and con on current bills. Both are full of crap.

these ad should also include time for rebuttal.

that might also work for presidential campaign ads
