The New England Revolution are the hottest team in MLS with a 9 game unbeaten streak in MLS play...all since Arena replaced Brad Friedel as coach. New England has moderate talent at best with Teal Bunbury probably their best player. They've been atrocious the last few years and they don't get any of the top Euro talent finishing out their careers over here. They should make a hard push for Ronaldo though when the time comes...that part of MA and RI have a very large Portuguese population. Most everyone are huge Benfica fans.

Point is...Arena can obviously coach. He has had teams do extremely well both internationally and in domestic club play (remember DC United was pretty stout under Arena as well). Even his latest stint with the USMNT he went 10-6-2 after replacing Klinsmann. So what happened with the last USMNT and not being able to finish out T&T? Arena's fault? Players' fault? Combo of both? Players loyal to Klinsmann still?

Players and Arena’s conservative, effective but predictable tactics.

Conor Casey digging the Rapids to 5-2-3 since being named the interim is pretty darn impressive for never being a head coach before.

We should have never been in the position of needing a win against T&T to make the WC.
That I will agree on. You need to get results at home and 2 wins on the road and that should all but guarantee you a spot in the WC. I believe we failed to get results against Panama and T&T on the road. We didn’t get results against Mexico and Costa Rica at home (we did steal a pt at Azteca though). The first 4 games for the US under Klinsmann were brutal and put us behind the 8 ball. But we should have clobbered T&T even if they played it on the parking lot

Frogface's fault?-of course, performance is always on the coach. Player's fault? Who called them up? So he can try to resurrect his career at NE. I could care less.
