Also, show up to the game. I know it was late and cold, but last night’s attendance was inappropriate for this team.

Here’s something that will offend UCF:

:todd:

You know what else offends UCF fans:

It offends me, that we never see smart plays like this anymore. Our football coach is such a micro manager that it's rare a player does something they weren't told too.

Thank God that Boomer recognized the UCF late switch. Actually never mind, had he not we probably have Graham as our coach next year instead of Hawaii and we probably have a legit shot at a NY6 with our schedule next year.

No kidding. Last night, I could have walked around and introduced myself to everyone in the gym and would probably remember most of their names.

Quite honestly, punt coverage teams know to pick the ball up and hold it until the whistle blows. I have not seen this same type of mistake made since this game. It's like the NFL and college football worlds took notice and taught their coverage teams how to really down a punt after that.

We did beat UCF in football. With that crappy team. So I would also be offended by that if I was a UCF fan.

You must not watch much football. I see cover teams touch and let punts roll all the time.

It's rare for the returner to try and pick it up though, usually they are 10 yards away when they touch and walking to the sideline as the ball is rolling.

I watch plenty of football...I haven't seen anything remotely like that happen since watching it live from Skelly.

Why are we talking about football? I still have 6 months until I have to be that depressed. It’s basketball season

Because if it wasn’t for football, your Games of Interest column would probably include a bunch of Summit League opponents.
