Estonian freshman Alex Meinhard recorded two goals and lead first-place Tulsa in its 2-1 win over SMU.
Meinhard put Tulsa ahead in the 20th minute, but Gabriel Costa equalized for the Mustangs with 14 minutes to play. Meinhard won the game on a goal from six yards off a pass from Malik Henry-Scott.

He has scored seven of Tulsa's 10 games and had the winning goal in all five wins for the Golden Hurricane, which leads the AAC with a 5-1-1 record.

“We had really good performances from a lot of guys,” Tulsa coach Tom McIntosh said. “We connected pretty well and put them under a lot of pressure in the first half, and I am just happy for the guys. It is a big win for what we are trying to do this season and we just have to keep moving forward from here.”

The one man show headline is really misleading. I've watched a number of TU's games this season and yes, he has a knack to find the net as all really good 9's do. But he has a lot of help and TU has really been good in the build up from the backline. Chase Bromstedt has played really well this year. The CB (#22) has been great all year. Barkley comes off the bench and puts teams on their heels. Marcos Moreno and Will Edwards have been good coming off the bench as well. This team is really good...and they're really young.
