They looked mighty large to the Garrison Matthews from Lipscomb last night. Matthews scored 45 of Lipscomb's 94 against NC State (14-24 FG, 8-13 3pt FG). Lipscomb won by 1. Ironically, it wasn't Matthews but the PG for Lipscomb who scored the last 5 points as he was left wide open while NC State was trying to deny Matthews the ball. Kid canned a cold as ice 3 with 15 seconds left and then hit a left handed runner in the middle of the lane with 1.7 seconds left.

Lipscomb moves on to play WSU in the NIT semis.
