Nolan brought his NIT Champions and what may have been his best team at TU to play at UNC. UNC was ranked # 1 in the nation and consisted of National Player of the Year James Worthy, Sam Perkins , and a rare starting Freshman....Mike Jordan... UNC went on to win the National Championship.

This video is for the really addicted TU basketball fanatic.

PS This is the 1981-1982 team before David Brown got hurt for the season.
