Things have lined up reasonably well for Tulsa in Ft Worth. Going back to what I said early in the season Tulsa could have success and win this whole thing.

Action Jackson the Assasin has proved he has has an outside shot and that has made him a huge plus for the team.

Korita has shown that when he is clutch scoring this team really clicks. The zone has hid some of his individual weaknesses on defense versus the more athletic bigger AAC guards. So we need to avoid man versus Memphis if we can to keep him on the floor, if we face them on Friday. Houston is a terrible outside shooting team so we'll just need him to produce those key baskets as they're who we are most likely to face in the semis.

Hopefully the time off gets Rachal back to mostly 100% because his athleticism along with Jackson's and then Korita or Horne hitting from the outside gives us a potent offensive game.

Igbanu, we just have to feed this monster and keep him out of foul trouble. His consistent inside play has been huge for the team and I expect he will elevate his game even more going in to win or go home type games.

A run is definitely possible and the whole tourney should be fun with a lot of good match ups.

The only issue I see with the zone is our guys collapse too hard when the opposing teams get the ball inside, leaving the 3 open. I'd much rather them let igbanu or horne or whoever is down there defend them then the other teams getting wide open looks. I mean, sure, it's fine when the teams are missing but lately they've been hitting.
But I like our draw honestly. Any of the teams in our 2nd game would be tough. I feel good with either ECU or Memphis and for the 2md game, maybe we will get hot for a change

There have also been a whole ton of upsets in conference tournaments already. Who's to say we cant be one them(in minds of most people itd be an upset anyway)

Agreed. We are way too aggressive with our inside help.

Yes 2 points inside, three points for the opponents outside. Wide open threes are fairly easy to hit for most major college shooters.

But not as easy as 3 pt shooting is down across the country with the line moved back. I don't see it getting any better either as the line is a good 1.5 to 2 ft behind most HS 3 pt arcs. That's not insignificant.
