From BCSNN.com...
Week 1 had a lot of upsets; I told y'all to keep an eye out for the Temple/Penn State game, because they would have a good chance at the upset and low and behold they won, 27-10.
SMU lost to Baylor, but they honestly impressed me from the bits and pieces of the game I saw on Friday, I don't think they scored 21 points the whole season last year. UCF losing last week shocked me, but hey that's why they play the game right?
Let's see who plays this week in the AAC.
Saturday, September 12th
• South Florida @ #11 Florida State, ESPN, 11:30 AM
• Houston @ Louisville, ESPN 3, Noon
• Army @ Connecticut, CBSSN, Noon
• Tulane @ #15 Georgia Tech, ESPN 3, 3:30 PM
• East Carolina @ Florida, ESPN 2, 7 PM
• Memphis @ Kansas, ESPN 3, 7 PM
• North Texas @ SMU, ESPN 3, 7 PM
• Temple @ Cincinnati, ESPNN, 8 PM
• Tulsa @ New Mexico, ESPN 3, 8 PM
• UCF @ Stanford, FoxS1, 10:30 PM
We have our first AAC clash with Temple at UC and that game will be the game of the week, in my opinion. Both teams are fighting to be ranked in the top 25, so the winner of this game will have an early heads up on being the king of the AAC.
I think Memphis should be able to knock off Kansas, a member of the Big 12. I also think that Houston has a good chance at knocking off ACC representative Louisville. The ECU/Florida game has me leaning more towards Florida, but if ECU can shock the world it could be a quality win versus the SEC.
I don't expect Tulane to have a chance in "" against Georgia Tech. I'm counting out USF against Florida State. With how Stanford played last week, I think that is bad timing for UCF. Otherwise I would think they would've had a shot, but now not so much.
