One of the most disappointing losses I’ve ever attended was watching Tulsa shoot 46% from the line and falling to a very overrated Clemson team in the tourney a few years back. I heard the clanking of missed free throws in my sleep that night.

That was bad, but that’s not why we lost. Shea’s teammates let him down from the line that day. We even had half the state of Minnesota pulling for us but our guys seemed terrified at the stripe.
