$5k ring found in good Will jeans...

In the news, a lady found a $5k-$6k ring in a pair of used pants she bought at the Good Will. Now 7 people have come forward to claim the ring. None of the 7 can properly ID the ring and can show no proof of ownership. My question is should these people all be charge with lying on a police report and arrested for attempted theft?

Nah, I don't think so. Reminds me of the time a friend of mine found a lost dog. His wife put up signs and even took out a classified for "Found Dog". They got all sorts of crazy calls. We still laugh about the people who couldn't even describe the dog.

I have a friend that thinks that with this kind of a prerequisite on their resume that they would all make good investment bankers!

The ring is round and fits on a ladies finger..............it's made of gold and has a diamond attached.
