Not a lot of activity over the past few days, as TU was focused on the official visits.

ā€¢ The newest transfer portal contacts have been with Mississippi State transfer Javian Davis and Elon transfer Michael Graham

Davis is a 6-9, 240 pound forward. He averaged 6.0 points and 3.8 rebounds per game over 31 appearances as a redshirt freshman at Alabama during the 2019-20 season. He then transferred to Mississippi State and played two years. Unclear if he'd have to sit out or able to get a waiver, since he already transferred once. Graham is a 6-8, 221 pound forward originally from Brooklyn. He had 16 points and 9 rebounds in season opener at Florida -- averaged 9.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game last season, shot 61 percent from the field.

A big man with some size remains a priority. TU is still working to make some progress with Connor Vanover (Arkansas) and Mylyjael Poteat (Rice).

ā€¢ Keylan Boone (OSU) and Junior Lofton (LA Tech) remain priorities but TU has a lot of competition for both. Recent schools on Boone include Memphis, Arizona State, Xavier, Texas Tech, Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh and Georgia. Lofton is getting serious interest from Kentucky, Texas and several others.

ā€¢ After last weekend's evaluation period, TU showed new interest in 2023 Topeka (KS) Highland Park SG Ketraleus "Bo" Aldridge (All Arkansas Red UAA), 2023 The Woodlands (TX) CG Shey Eberwein (Texas Impact) and 2023 DeLasalle (MN) PG Nasir Whitlock (Gain Elite MN).

ā€¢ TU recently offered 2023 6-8 forward Joseph Tugler, a high school teammate of TU signee Jesaiah McWright. TU re-offered 2023 6-8 forward Trent Pierce of Union and 2024 guard David Castillo of Bartlesville.
