ā¢ Tulsa has been in contact with Mississippi State transfer Javian Davis. 6-9, 240 pound forward. He averaged 6.0 points and 3.8 rebounds per game over 31 appearances as a redshirt freshman at Alabama during the 2019-20 season. He then transferred to Mississippi State and played two years. Unclear if he'd have to sit out or able to get a waiver, since he already transferred once. A big man with some size appears to be a "big" priority. Mo Njie of Eastern Michigan is out of the picture. TU is still working on Connor Vanover (Arkansas) and Mylyjael Poteat (Rice).
ā¢ Keylan Boone (OSU) and Junior Lofton (LA Tech) are obvious priorities but TU has a lot of competition for both. Recent schools on Boone include Memphis, Arizona State, Xavier, Texas Tech, Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh and Georgia. Lofton is getting serious interest from Kentucky, Texas and several others.
