A couple hitters seem they can't hit past the pitcher and another who just can't hit.

Its basically Estacado, Neal and Hollingsworth and thats it..wont win alot with just 3 hitting...this team is curious..7 returning starters yet playing so poorly

With so many returning it says a lot about how important the Withee sisters were to the team last year. Apparently they were the GLUE and made everyone around them better.
This team is not even close for what ever reason. I saw one stat in the box score where opposing hitter got a double on our catcher. Not sure how that happens but too many infield hits given up by pitcher and catcher.

Sunday Result
Game 5 W 1-0

Tulsa 1 Run 4 Hits 0 Errors 2 LOB
Florida Atlantic 0 Runs 1 Hit 2 Errors and 1 LOB
Emily Watson Pitched 7 Innings 0 Runs 1 Hit 0 BB 11K

The weekend result of 4-1 puts Tulsa as 6-7 on the Season.
Texas State is a solid team and was surprised that Watson didn’t get that start.
On the positive notes Watson had a couple of double digits strike out games. Hopefully that’s a start of a trend after a rough couple of weeks.
Estocado returning to Fr and So year form after Jr year slump.
But really past the top 3 hitters the rest of the lineup is continuing to struggle.
Defense is solid enough on paper, but hard to gauge that without seeing it.
I saw the PBP listing a double to the catcher. I assumed that was a typo or poor score keeping.
