6-foot-3, 200 pound quarterback Micah Wilson of Tulsa (Okla.) Lincoln Christian has the attention of college coaches, including those at TU, and he'll be one to watch in the class of 2016.

What gets me is that none have left or changed positions.

I would think its still a bit early to announce changes of position on the team as yet. During or after spring practice yes.

I have no problems with a QB derby since we are installing a completely new offense that IMO will require a talented QB who is told to win games, not manage them. Any DI QB should want to do that.

I've evaluated most of the top QBs in the Oklahoma class of 2016 either in person or on film. Right now, I have Micah Wilson and Terry Wilson as the top two, as does Josh McCuiston in his Sooner State Rankings. OK Gridiron has them as the top two as well.

I think Mason Fine is a good football player.

Is Fine a bit of a sleeper maybe...a little Paul Smith possibly? Smith wasn't highly rated coming out of HS despite throwing for what seemed like a billion yards at Owasso. First time I saw Paul Smith I asked "How in the world is TU going to keep this kid alive at QB?"

Possibly. The bottom line is, it comes down to what college coaches are looking for at the next level. While not all college coaches are looking for the same things, all of them are going to look at size, speed and athleticism while evaluating mechanics, technique, movement in the pocket, footwork, cognitive ability, arm strength, mobility, etc.
