Congrats to Bla for the dos a cero guess on final score, although no one, not even Tyler's(step) Mama, predicted the game winner from him via a 30+ yard cannon shot into the top left corner.

Wow!! If true, do not tell me that no one else applied for that kind of money and USA personnel maybe the best ever to mold into a solid WC team.

Droolz also suggested that this was the reason he was re-hired. I still don't buy it. What is the salary? Did the USSF low-ball it for what Gregg would work for? One wonders how many resumes did we get & were actually considered(unlike 7 years ago when 18 resumes were received & only 2 men...

    USMNT Player Pool Discussion

I'm not sure there was much of a search. His brother, Jay Burr?halter, is still somewhere around the USSF. Thus, Gregg, IMO, is just as illegitimate this time as he was five years ago. Having said this, nevada's point remains...he prolly won't be fired unless we lose Sunday and get bounced...

Not to mention Musah bringing the ball forward. His problem is dribbling too much and not passing off to our forwards. If Burr?halter would threaten to bench him for losing the ball in opponents end, he would be so important in our attack. McKinnie can bring it forward. Tyler can bring it...

    USMNT Player Pool Discussion

So true. Our guys would romp over most opponents with the speed and skill of so many of our players. Burr?halter's game plan of possession, e.g. a dozen passes back & forth in our end, rarely works for us & diminishes our forward players advantage.

Yes, weird. It feels mildly traitorous to hope the US loses. Doc bb's comment of "reevaluate direction" means, to me, firing Burr?halter toute de suite.

Dang, Bla...did we watch the same game? Even Jedi sucked, along with M. Robinson..to slow, seen better days...should never see the pitch Tillman, merely OK, Scally hadn't awakened yet to play a game on their goal ... Few players passes were spot on, McKennie sucked, Pulisic was poor except...

    USMNT Player Pool Discussion

Well, I figured we lose which sucks but the good news is that Burr?halter catches hell from fans & the press. Poor Jamaica. Has a team ever lost in worse fashion? Zilch from Pepe & Balogun. How can you have 81% possession and still look like crap? Mex in the final will be tough with our...

He also has withdrawn from Beer?halter's Nations Lg squad. Why not. His club team needs him for their fight to gain EPL promotion. David Wagner, his coach, doesn't want him injured vs. C'CAF competition, although Beer?halter wouldn't start him anyway. He's more in love with Balogun & Pepe...

    Womens Tournament

Most often it seems like we get down 10-15 points early, then get rolling and win the game. Sure would be nice to jump on a team early and keep them at arms length the whole game.

    USMNT Player Pool Discussion

Sargent scores again yesterday. Today, CP scores the games only goal on a deflected shot & has 10 now in all comps. The win lets Milan trade places with Juve in 2nd place in Serie A, clear by 2 points. A couple hours later, Wes McKinnie gets 2 assists in only 4 minutes and helps Juve go from...

Here's an idea....start Sarge and see what he can do for 60-65 minutes (as his coach at Norwich City is doing) and then bring Balogun off the bench to relieve him. Won't happen but currently, Balogun isn't doing much of anything (5 and 4) for that frog club.

Tulane Had the highest ranked signing class: No Way!

Welcome! We have somewhat already downgraded by the move out of our big dogs from the AAC and the move in of replacements from C-USA. With Kevin Wilson as HC, we will soon (maybe not this season) but soon begin to dominate the revised AAC. The timing of you becoming a TU football fan could...

    USMNT Player Pool Discussion

It was crazy for CP & Milan yesterday as they beat Lazio 1-0. Pulisic is getting a few hundred death threats from Lazio "fans" as he drew 2 red cards and Lazio ends up with 3 reds & 8 players. One hopes they are just sore losers & letting off steam. Carrot Top scores the only goal in a...

    USMNT Player Pool Discussion

How can a guy scoring a goal every 80 minutes not fit with his teammates? And according to his coach, David Wagner, he's been managing Sargent's minutes due to coming back from such a long layoff, not to mention trying to keep the top striker in the English Championship from further injury...

    USMNT Player Pool Discussion

Forgot to mention that Sarge has not played the full 90 in any of the matches since he returned. And Wagner is getting criticized for always yanking him in the 2nd half. Although prolly not today after scoring twice in 70 minutes before subbing out. There has to be a mind-boggling stat in...

    USMNT Player Pool Discussion

I mentioned above that Josh Sargent is "red hot" for their quest for a spot in that English Championship playoff for EPL promotion. What I meant was "en fuego" as he scores a brace today in a 4-1 beatdown vs Cardiff City. Unfortunately for Ethan Horvath, he was in goal for his new club. The...

Tulane Had the highest ranked signing class: No Way!

According to KDub, 10 of our HS 27 signees are enrolled, although don't know which. This should take a small load off the minds of some. And with a couple exceptions, they all come from winning programs in top state districts. I forgot about a 2nd running back signed in addition to Viron...

    USMNT Player Pool Discussion

"Very intelligent", "quick enough", "makes other teammates better", "an absolutely complete striker", first touch good" and so on from his German coach, David Wagner. Sargent has 8 goals in 15 games total and 6 in the last 9 after returning from almost 4 months rehabbing. Scored yesterday in a...
