🏈 Recruiting Massive TU Recruiting Update: Official visitors for the past 3 weeks, 2023 prospects to watch and more.

A bunch of info I've gathered over the past few weeks, all dumped into one big article. ;)

Women’s BB Injuries

Someone asked in the other thread about the women’s injuries and since some people don’t want women’s BB discussed in the same thread as the men I started this one.

Evans tore her knee up in the KU game and is out for the season. Young was injured a couple of games ago tried to play against SMU but re-injured - I think it was leg related. Maddie B was knocked down hard near the basket in the 4th qtr of the SMU game. She was rubbing either her wrist or hand afterward and didn’t play last night. Based on Pooh’s comment I don’t think she will be out for long. Levings was injured earlier in the year and last night didn’t play any in the second half possibly re-injured. It seems most of our injuries are due to contact or hard falls during the games.

The freshmen are stepping it up. Lyles had a great shooting night, Periman rebounds well, blocked some shots and had a great drive blowing by the defender, Mathew’s didn’t play as much last night but in the SMU game played well. I suspect if Maddie doesn’t return quickly Lyles and Mathews may get more time rather than Gallegos. Gallegos not shooting well. Periman is becoming a regular down low.

Coney Island

Nothing is sacred anymore. I have a little more insight into this one than I will say here, but I have to hope people will get behind this institution.

Game Thoughts Cincy

Is Gold MIA ?

I just watched in slight delay but I will say Cincy is much better than us on any day. The 7 footer denied any inside play and is the definition of a rim protector. They also had old experienced big guards who dominated our little guys.

We had no offense at all.

Our best player (and I will happily say it ) was Pritchard. He looked like the beginning of an AAC PG tonight. He will need experienced help there next year to challenge him.

Selebangue had a bunch of rebounds but he nor Dalger can score against that awesome height of Cincy.

No execution on fast breaks or offense at all. How much of that is on the coaches and how much on the players I don't know but it was pitiful. The freshman reverted to beginning freshmen again. I want to see more progress there.

At least I think we can play with Wichita at home Sunday. We need a win big time.
