Florida State advances to Elite Eight after referee awards back to back points for time violations by the Tulsa player in what appeared to be the deciding game and deciding set for the teams.
Quite possibly the biggest piece of BS I’ve ever seen in college sports, if that is in fact what happened. The CCTV feed had no commentary and it was tough to tell what was going on. The post game notes weren’t helpful. P5 fixing is real people. The 84 Texas game was fair by comparison.
Taunting by FSU during and after the match. They planted the spear rather than shake hands. Maybe there was a team handshake later, but it didn’t look classy on TV.
In any case, TU won the conference and finished the season nationally ranked. Great job girls.
