Tulsa has picked up a commitment from 6-5, 235 pound Arizona TE transfer Colby Powers. Powers was at the TU Spring Game. I haven't seen him announce it on social media, but he did recently change his profile photo on Twitter to a pic of him in a TU jersey.
He's originally from Spring (TX) Klein Collins, where he played quarterback and tight end. Powers was named All-District two years in a row at QB and punter. He was an All-District baseball player all four years of high school and originally planned to play both football and baseball at Arizona. In the 2021 class, he was a Texas Top 100 prospect at No. 84.
